The Star Wars Child's Cradle is a free mGear prop rig for Maya of Grogu's hovering pod from The Mandalorian. Guillermo Moreno Alfaro sculpted, modelled and textured it, and Emilio Serrano rigged it with floating and rotation controls for the pod's hovering drift. It is made to sit alongside the Mandalorian and Grogu rigs, so you can stage all three in one scene.

Everything the rig ships with. What you get on day one:
Controls set up for the pod's distinctive hovering drift, so the float is natural to animate.
Every curve, surface and mechanical element of the pod, sculpted by Guillermo Moreno Alfaro.
Stage it with the Mandalorian and Grogu rigs and all three assets share the same finish.
No iconic duo is complete without its defining prop, and the Child's Cradle is as recognisable as the character it carries. Emilio Serrano rigged Grogu's levitating cradle so a Mandalorian sequence can feel whole.
Whether you are recreating key Mandalorian moments, building original fan animation or staging Mando, Grogu and the cradle together, a rigged pod gives you something a static asset cannot: it moves with the scene.
Grogu's pod, ready to animate in Maya.
By Guillermo Moreno Alfaro.
By Emilio Serrano, using mGear.
Built to be staged with both character rigs.
