Licensed tools come with a key that unlocks them. You never need to write it down or keep the email, it always lives in your account. Here is where to find it, how to activate, and how seats and machines work.

Activating
Activation happens inside the product, the first time it asks.

Copy your key
Copy it from My Account › Licences rather than typing it, and watch for stray spaces at either end.

Paste it into the product
Launch the tool, and when it asks for a licence, paste the key. That machine now holds one of your seats.

Done
The tool stays unlocked on that machine. No key entry on every launch, no phoning home drama.
Seats and moving machines
A seat is one machine using your licence at a time.
- One key covers the number of seats you bought. A single seat means one machine at a time, not one machine forever.
- New computer? Deactivate on the old machine from inside the product, or from your Licences page, then activate on the new one. No support ticket needed.
- Perpetual licences never expire and include updates as the creator ships them.
- Monthly and annual licences renew from your account. Your key stays the same, nothing to re-enter.
- Studios needing more seats can get in touch for a bigger licence.
If something will not activate
The key is not accepted
Copy it fresh from My Account › Licences and check for spaces at either end. Keys are entered exactly as shown, dashes included.
Out of seats
You are activated on as many machines as your licence covers. Deactivate one you no longer use, then activate the new machine.
No key arrived
Check My Account › Licences first, it is issued there the moment your order completes, even if the email is slow or in spam.
