The Grogu rig is a free Star Wars mGear rig for Maya of The Child himself, the character many know as Baby Yoda. Sculpted, modelled and textured by Guillermo Moreno Alfaro and rigged by Emilio Serrano, it is a character acting rig first: ear wiggles, a tentative Force raise, the wide-eyed stare. A 69MB model detailed enough to be seen up close.

Everything the rig ships with. What you get on day one:
Precise controls for a character with limited but expressive physicality, where small moves carry the scene.
Every wrinkle and curve sculpted, modelled and textured to hold up in close shots.
A detailed model built to be seen up close, not a lightweight stand-in.
Stage full scenes with the Mandalorian and Child's Cradle rigs.
He has spoken, and he has been rigged. This is Emilio Serrano's tribute to the small green foundling who took over the galaxy.
Grogu is distilled character: enormous eyes, tiny hands, huge ears, and a face that can go from serene wisdom to soup-powered hunger. Guillermo Moreno Alfaro's sculpt and texturing captures every wrinkle and curve of the Child's appeal.
Emilio's mGear rig brings that limited but expressive physicality into Maya. The ear wiggle, the half-committed Force raise and the stare that stole the world's heart all depend on tiny movements, and the controls are set up to get them.
He is at his best when he does almost nothing and still says everything. Think quiet emotional beats, comedic moments and scene studies in subtle performance.
