Reptilian Rig for Maya is a free creature rig by Emilio Serrano: a cold-blooded bipedal warrior on Advanced Skeleton, with a sword that space-switches between world, body and hand, a tongue rig, individual scale controls and quick sets for fast selection. Javier Gonzalez Barreiro modelled it. For animators who want a non-human fighter with real character, scales, slithering tongue and all.

Everything the rig ships with. What you get on day one:
Snap the sword between world, body and hand space in the middle of a shot.
A rigged tongue for facial performance, slithering included.
Character-specific controls for that unsettling skin detail, beyond a standard bipedal setup.
Selection sets for the common control groups, so posing keeps pace with the character.
The Reptilian pairs a reptile's menace with the tactical precision of a seasoned fighter. Javier Gonzalez Barreiro modelled the character, and Emilio Serrano rigged the full bipedal body on Advanced Skeleton.
The interesting part is what a standard biped does not have. The scale controls, the tongue and the sword's dedicated space switch are there because this is a genuinely alien form, and whether you are posing a stone-cold staredown or a full sword-strike combo, those extras are what sell it.
The full bipedal body rig for Autodesk Maya.
Switches between world, body and hand space.
For facial performance.
Creature-specific controls on top of the biped body.
Fast selection of common control groups.
