We Are AnimWorks
The Animation Collective — a curated marketplace built by animators, for animators.
Our Story
AnimWorks was born out of a frustration familiar to every working animator: the tools and rigs you actually need are scattered across forums, outdated websites, and paywalled communities — and there’s no reliable way to know if they’ll work in your version of Maya before you spend an hour downloading them.
We set out to fix that. AnimWorks is a curated hub where professional-grade rigs, plugins, courses, and tutorials live in one place — properly documented, compatibility-tested, and created by working professionals who know exactly what game animators and riggers need on a real production.
What We Believe
Great animation tools should be accessible — not just to studios with big budgets, but to students, freelancers, and independent creators. That’s why we offer a mix of free and paid resources, all held to the same standard of quality. If it’s on AnimWorks, it works, it’s documented, and it’s made by someone who uses it themselves.
We also believe that the best tools come out of community. AnimWorks isn’t just a store — it’s a collective. The Discourse community at discord.gg/animworks is where animators share work, ask questions, review rigs, and help each other get better. The store and the community are two halves of the same thing.

The People Behind It
AnimWorks was founded with one creator and a clear vision: build the marketplace that didn’t exist when we needed it. Our first contributor, Emilio Serrano, is a production-ready character rigger whose work has been used across game and film pipelines. His rigs — including the Star Wars and Another World series — are the foundation of what AnimWorks stands for: professional quality, free where possible, and always built with the animator’s actual workflow in mind.
We’re actively growing the collective. If you’re a rigger, technical animator, or animation educator who wants to publish your work to a focused, professional audience — we want to hear from you.
